Background

Mornington Day are a team of highly skilled craftsmen and women lead by Roland Day. Roland ran a successful building company before training at Parnham College in Dorset under the tutorage of John Makepeace and Robert Ingham, here he honed his craft skills to an exceptionally high standard.

Mornington Day are based in a converted threshing barn in the picturesque village of Great Wolford, near Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire. The workshops are very well equipped with the latest digitally controlled machinery, usually the starting point of each production piece.  However there is no substitute for craft skill and each piece is constructed and finished by one of the team.

We would be delighted to give you a tour of our workshops, show you current and past projects and discuss how we can translate your ideas into reality, solve technically challenging designs or to simply make a beautiful piece of furniture for you or your clients.
