Mornington Day were asked to make a desk for the reception area of the new offices of Oktra in High Holborn, London. Nicholas Pryke, the design director at Oktra initially sent a sketch of his proposal, from which intricate technical issues were resolved and converted into meticulously detailed CAD drawings. The subsequent manufacturing produced a spectacular minimalist cantilevered desk.

This project illustrates the various services Roland and his team has to offer. They can translate conceptual sketches, through their CAD facility, drawing on years of experience of solving technical problems and through their skilled workforce produce immaculate pieces of furniture in a range of materials.
